Day 1

Nairobi → Tsavo West National Park

Your Kenya safari tour begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi in a pop-up roof safari minivan or 4x4 vehicle.

The drive to Tsavo West takes approximately 5–6 hours (270 km) along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

Tsavo West is known for its rugged terrain, volcanic hills, and diverse wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalo.
